    Olympic Park Munich GmbH has been awarded the title of 'Top Sports-Friendly Company 2024'. The award ceremony took place during the 50th Conference of Sports Ministers (SMK) in Munich. The award is presented by the German Olympic Sports Confederation (DOSB), the SMK and the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (DIHK). It honours companies and employers who are particularly committed to the success of dual careers for top athletes and who promote the compatibility of competitive sport, vocational training and work.

    In just over two years, Munich will once again host the Handball World Championship. After the 2019 World Championships and the 2024 European Championships in the Olympic Hall, this time the SAP Garden will be the venue for high-calibre preliminary round matches. Fans can look forward to the German team in particular: the hosts will play all of their matches in the new arena to kick off the tournament. As with the two previous tournaments, Olympic Park Munich GmbH and the German Handball Federation (DHB) are responsible for organising the World Championship in Munich.
