In its 20th anniversary year, the summer classic will once again transform the Olympic Park into a fantastic festival site with two large open-air stages, plenty of space to stroll around, time to enjoy and one of the most spectacular pyrotechnic shows in Germany. Tickets go on sale today, 4 December, including the popular Early Bird Tickets, which are available at reduced prices until 31 December.

Germany's most sports-friendly company 2024 - Olympic Park Munich GmbH wins award

Olympic Park Munich GmbH has been awarded the title of 'Top Sports-Friendly Company 2024'. The award ceremony took place during the 50th Conference of Sports Ministers (SMK) in Munich. The award is presented by the German Olympic Sports Confederation (DOSB), the SMK and the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (DIHK). It honours companies and employers who are particularly committed to the success of dual careers for top athletes and who promote the compatibility of competitive sport, vocational training and work.

Men's Handball World Cup 2027 back in Munich

In just over two years, Munich will once again host the Handball World Championship. After the 2019 World Championships and the 2024 European Championships in the Olympic Hall, this time the SAP Garden will be the venue for high-calibre preliminary round matches. Fans can look forward to the German team in particular: the hosts will play all of their matches in the new arena to kick off the tournament. As with the two previous tournaments, Olympic Park Munich GmbH and the German Handball Federation (DHB) are responsible for organising the World Championship in Munich.

45,000 Munich residents at the Outdoor sports festival in the Olympic Park

In perfect autumn weather - sunshine and blue skies - around 45,000 Munich residents came to the 8th Outdoor sports festival in the Olympic Park on Sunday to let off steam in what was probably the city's most varied programme of activities.
